Design and Construction
Each tank begins with a detailed assessment of site requirements—capacity, pressure rating, seismic considerations, and integration with existing piping systems. Shell and head plates are cut to precision and joined using TIG welding, with all interior welds ground smooth to eliminate crevices where sediment or biofilm can accumulate. External stiffening ribs or saddle supports are provided based on tank height and hydrostatic load calculations.
Features and Accessories
Insulation Options: Polyurethane foam insulation with aluminum jacketing can be applied for temperature‐sensitive processes or to reduce heat gain/loss.
Instrumentation: Built‐in level sensors, pressure gauges, and temperature probes can be supplied and factory‐calibrated for seamless integration with factory control systems.
Access and Safety: Manways with gas‐tight covers, roof‐mounted vent pipes with insect screens, and external ladders or platforms facilitate safe inspection and maintenance.
Installation and Commissioning
Tanks are delivered in shop‐fabricated modules when needed and assembled on a reinforced concrete pad. After hydrostatic pressure testing to verify leak tightness, instrumentation is commissioned and handed over with a full set of operation and maintenance manuals. Hebei Huayu also provides on‐site training to factory personnel on routine inspection, passivation procedures, and sample‐taking methods.
