Application Requirements
In medical facilities—hospitals, clinics, laboratories—water purity and material hygiene are paramount. Hebei Huayu Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd offers enamel‐coated steel water tanks whose glass‐like internal surface resists microbial colonization and withstands repeated cleaning and disinfection cycles.
Enameling Process
Steel panels are shot‐blasted to create a rough surface, then coated with multiple layers of vitreous enamel frit. Firing at temperatures above 780 °C fuses the frit into a continuous, non‐porous glass layer bonded to the steel. Both interior and exterior surfaces can be enameled to simplify cleaning and protect against hospital‐grade disinfectants.
Design Features
Sectional Construction: Panel sections connect via gasketed flanges, allowing transport through narrow corridors and installation in confined utility rooms.
Cleanability: Smooth interior finish meets medical‐industry requirements for surface roughness (Ra ≤ 0.8 µm), facilitating rapid and thorough sanitization.
Accessories: Hygienic sampling ports, overflow lines pitched for complete drainage, and sealed access hatches maintain sterile conditions.
Installation and Validation
Following site assembly, tanks undergo hydrostatic testing and swab testing for enamel integrity. Hebei Huayu supplies validation protocols to medical‐facility quality departments, including certificate of conformity for the enamel coating and cleaning/disinfection validation guides.
