Purpose and Scope
Medical waste incinerators from Hebei Huayu Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd are engineered to thermally destroy a broad spectrum of hospital-derived wastes—sharps, pathological specimens, pharmaceutical residues, and contaminated dressings—reducing them to non-hazardous ash and gases in a contained, regulatory-compliant manner.
System Architecture
Feed Preparation: Shredders and compactors reduce volume and ensure homogeneous feeding into the primary chamber.
Primary Chamber: Maintains 900–1,100 °C to decompose organic constituents and sterilize infectious agents. Lined with high-temperature refractories to resist corrosive byproducts.
Secondary Chamber: Ensures complete oxidation of off-gases at 1,200–1,300 °C with a minimum two-second retention time.
Flue Gas Treatment: Includes quencher to rapidly cool gases, followed by particulate removal (baghouse or electrostatic precipitator) and acid-gas scrubbing. Activated-carbon adsorption can be added for trace-organic control.
Control Systems
A robust PLC platform sequences waste feeding, burner operation, and airflow distribution to optimize combustion efficiency and minimize manual oversight. Continuous-monitoring probes for CO, NOₓ, HCl, and particulate provide data to maintain compliance with environmental permits.
Materials and Durability
Refractory linings use alumina-silicate bricks rated for high chemical and thermal stresses. Externally, carbon-steel shells are clad with ceramic-fiber insulation and protected by high-temperature coatings. All gas-contact surfaces employ corrosion-resistant alloys or internal linings rated for acidic conditions.
Maintenance and Lifecycle
Routine tasks include burner-tube inspection, refractory-liner checks, filter-element replacement, and CEM calibration. Hebei Huayu offers maintenance-training programs, spare-part packages, and on-site technical assistance to support uninterrupted, compliant operation over the equipment’s service life.
